 In the Philippines, it’s not always easy to get a great smartphone at a 
low price. We’re hoping to help change that by working with leading 
partners Cherry Mobile and MyPhone to bring <a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" target="_blank">Android One</a> smartphones to the Philippines.
 
These phones — the Cherry One and MyPhone Uno — will go on sale in the 
coming weeks, offering affordable phones with the latest version of 
Android (Lollipop), the fastest, most responsive Android experience 
ever. Lollipop includes a battery saver feature, Google’s new material design 
look and feel and quick settings to conserve data. And these phones have
 great hardware features, including front- and rear-facing cameras, dual
 SIM slots and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
 
To help people in the Philippines save money on data, these phones will also include features such as Chrome browser data compression and YouTube Offline.
 And with the launch, our connectivity partners will be offering 
promotional plans to people who buy Android One’s that will help reduce 
costs for over-the-air (OTA) updates and app downloads from Google Play.
 
The Philippines is the sixth country to get Android One, but don’t worry, there are more on the way — stay tuned!

 Devices running Android Lollipop is less likely to crash as compared to devices running the Apple iOS 8, according to data released by Crittercism. Crittercism provides mobile application performance management for enterprises to optimize their mobile businesses. It supplies up-to-date metrics of various operating system including iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Hybrid and HTML apps. Android 5.0 Lollipop crash rates is lower at 0.2 percent as compared with Apple iOS 8 with 2.2 percent crash rate, Crittercism said in its report. The iOS 8 also has higher crash rate at 2.2 percent as compared with the iOS 7 at 1.9 percent crash rate. When compared to earlier releases, the Lollipop still has lower crash rate at 2.0 percent. KitKat and Ice Cream Sandwich has 2.6 percent crash rate respectively. The Apple iOS 8 was released in September 2014 but it comes with some bugs that frustrated those who downloaded the operating system. Version 8.0.1 unfortunately had more bugs that prompted Apple to pull it and release 8.0.2 straight away. Apple released iOS 8.1.1 in October and iOS 8.1.2 in December. The 8.1.1 enhanced performance for the iPhone 4s and the iPad 2 while 8.1.2 provided bug fixes. Adoption rate for the iOS 8 had finally picked up to 72 percent with the release of iOS 8.1.3 that provided the much needed bugs fix. The version also addressed the demands for storage space on devices. The adoption rate for iOS 8 increased from the 68 percent rate seen in December according to CNET. On Feb 11, Motorola expanded the Android 5.0 Lollipop for Moto Maxx and Moto E. Lollipop was soak tested with Moto Maxx in Brazil and Mexico and with Moto E in Brazil and India, the company said in its announcement. Android Lollipop will first roll out with Moto Maxx and Moto E smartphones available at retail stores. “As we normally do, we’re starting by rolling out the upgrade to smaller test groups, and if the results are strong, we will expand the software to more phones,” Motorola said in a statement.  The usually-reliable SamMobile website has published a new shot of Samsung’s eagerly awaited Galaxy S6 smartphone. And, as you can see, the rendering looks a lot like the design of the iPhone 6. Keep in mind that this render shows the shape of the device; the build might be metal, which would make it look even more like Apple’s new phones. The S6 is expected to make its official debut at Mobile World Conference in Barcelona at the beginning of March. The leaked photo comes from a tweet by someone named “Antonio Monaco” dated Saturday. SamMobile thinks the leak is legit: “There have been several leaks and rumors in the past, shedding the lights on its hardware as well as software, but we think that this might be our first real look at the upcoming Galaxy S6′s original design.” The home button at the bottom of the phone appears to be more raised from the surface of the phone than the Galaxy S5’s home button. The headphone jack moves to the bottom of the phone — exactly where the iPhone 6’s sits. “. . . the microUSB port are at the bottom, while the proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and the front-facing camera seems to moved from the right hand side of the earpiece to the left hand side,” SamMobile notes. The volume buttons show up on the left side of the phone. They are two separate buttons instead of one large volume rocker button — again, just like the iPhone 6. Some Samsung fans might wonder why the biggest smartphone maker in the world would mimic the design of Apple’s phones. But there may be a big market for a phone that possesses the design beauty of the iPhone 6, but with the functionality of the Android OS inside. One of Google's flagship devices that came out November 2014 running Android Lollipop. <a href="http://adf.ly/vmAsR">Nexus 6</a> is said to be a larger version Motorola's Moto X. It is larger than Samsung Note 4, and even wider than Iphone 6 plus. The phone has nice combination of round and flat for gripping purposes. Has front facing speakers, so expect a good quality of sound. It has ring-flash camera. Supports 15-minute fast charging technology, wireless charging and battery saver mode. The phone's hardware is perfectly built. The most exciting feature of this phone is it's operating system. It is running android lollipop where there are animations everywhere. The user interface is even improved.
